Winter is coming and Warm Wings has you ready! Warm Wings clips easily onto almost any hummingbird feeder to provide steady, consistent warmth, preventing frozen nectar and protecting the wellbeing of our non-migratory Hummingbird species!
We are a family owned and operated company from Nanoose Bay in beautiful British Columbia. From spring bloom, through the heat of summer, past the changing winds of autumn, and into the chill of our BC Winters I have always taken great joy in watching the hummingbirds feed in our backyard. I started our little company out of our home in Langley B.C. before relocating to Nanoose Bay We needed room to grow! My love for birds and nature started in childhood and carried on to a career as a Vet Tech and Wildlife Rehabilitation volunteer. My love for our local Hummingbirds motivated us at Warm Wings to design this high-quality, affordable solution to keep our feeders from freezing in the cold winter months and we are overjoyed to share this with you now!
Why Does Warm Wings not list prices?
We do not list prices because we are a direct supplier to retail stores. Please see the links on our website to our vendors!
Warm Wings Canada is a proud supporter of the Wildlife Rescue Association of BC. If you find an injured hummingbird, please give them a call at (604) 526-7275.
Our signature warmer is the most versatile one of the flock! With a wingspan of 4 inches and a height of 5 inches it nestles nicely under most feeders. The Anna uses a standard E26 11-watt incandescent bulb and can also accommodate a regular appliance bulb in extreme freezing conditions (not to exceed 40 watts). The Anna has a 6-foot cord with a built-in dimmer switch!
The Rufous is the big bird of the flock with a wingspan of 5 inches and a height of 5 1⁄4 inches. The Rufous is especially perfect for those big round feeders that look like UFOs! The Rufous uses a standard E26 11-watt incandescent bulb and can also accommodate a standard appliance bulb in extreme minus temperatures. The Rufous boasts a 6-foot cord with a built-in dimmer switch!
The Cozy Cover is the perfect addition for your feeder and warmer. It is made from the same commercial grade aluminum as the warmers and finished in an attractive red finish. The Cozy Cover provides some protection from rain and snow in the winter and shade in the summer. The Cozy Cover has a moat on top to keep those pesky ants away and marching someplace else!
The Blossom Blanket is the perfect warming station for all your feathered friends. You can attach the enclosed perch or hook your feeder on the protective grate. The Blossom Blanket comes with a 100 watt infrared heat bulb. Additional bulbs are available in most pet stores where heating lamps are sold.
Warm Wings is a universal warming device that clips easily onto most hummingbird feeders providing a reliable and consistent source of radiant heat to help stop your feeder from freezing!
Warm Wings is the only warmer not made from plastic!
Southern British Columbia is home to several non-migratory hummingbird species. While BC winters tend to be mild, the natural food sources for our resident hummingbirds are in short supply; a well-kept hummingbird feeder can provide a reliable food source over the winter months, but this is not without its own risks. A cold snap could chill or even freeze the nectar in your hummingbird feeder presenting a hazard to these feathered friends.

I like how sturdy the Warm Wings heater and Cozy Covers are. They are not made out of plastic like most heaters and covers are. My hummers thank you.

Clients
1. Boil water for two minutes
2. While warm, mix one-cup sugar into 4-cups water
3. Allow the mixture to cool before filling feeder
Never use honey, sweeteners, molasses, brown or raw sugar; white sugar is the closest to the sugars hummingbirds find in nature, these other types of sugar could make your hummingbirds sick or even die. Do not change the ratio of sugar to water as this is not healthy for these sensitive birds. Never add red food coloring or other products to you

Perfect temp. My feeder is not quite in the elements. Thank you for an amazing product. I like that it is not plastic and appears to be of good quality.
